The Sky is the limit

Because flow cytometry is notrestricted to one particular assay orany particular domain it can beutilised in many novel ways in a widevariety of fields. This breadth ofapplications is demonstratedparticularly well by its widespread usein different industries and disciplines, such as pharmaceutics for drugtesting, the food industry forpathogen detection, breweries foryeast viability, the analysis of woodpulp in the paper industry, plantbreeding, forestry, aquaculture, mariculture and oceanography.
