Research and Development of Medical Equipment Maintenance and Management System in Medical Engineering Department

Objective To design and develop a medical equipment maintenance and management system(MEMMS)which is available to medical engineering department in modern hospitals.Methods The MERMS which mainly includes login module,maintenance information query module,maintenance information input module,devices maintenance information and image database module,is developed by the genuine software Delphi 7.0,Window7 operating system and Access2003 database.Results The MEMMS is convenient and flexible to operate.Compared with traditional management model,it only takes 0.5~1min to input the maintenance information.Conclusion The MEMMS overcomes inconvenience of traditional paper archives,improves the information management of medical devices in hospitals.
