Design and Simulation of Ka-band Duplex Balance Star Mixer

This paper designs a 26~38 GHz monolithic duplex balance star mixer using 0.15 μm GaAs PHEMT process,which has changed the general mixed microwave integrated circuit structure of star mixer,designs the circuit diagram to realize the monolithic integration,finally obtains the electromagnetic simulation result.The frequency conversion loss in the electromagnetic simulation result of the mixer can be limited in 7~10 dB,and the port isolation can be more than 15 dB when the intermediate frequency is from DC to 12 GHz.
