Interior noise while the train is operating can be divide by the air borne and structure borne noise theoretically. But it is hard to analyze them in practice because both noises are superposed intricately through various noise paths. Noise transfer path analysis is applied to analyze the main noise source and consider effective noise remediation plan. Various noise transfer path analysis’s which Industry like automotive already applied were compared, then pros and cons of each technique were weighed up. Advanced transfer path analysis was considered for the application of the train among them. At first transmissibility between each position which can be considered at a main noise path was measured at stationary condition. Then operating noise and vibration data were measured at running condition. Finally the contribution analysis was done between air borne and structure borne noise for interior noise at running condition.
