A Trust Framework for Pervasive Computing Environments

Due to the uncertainty and mobility of pervasive computing environments, trust modeling has been regarded as an important problem. At present, there are lots of researches on trust model for pervasive computing. In this paper, a novel trust framework for pervasive computing is presented. The hybrid framework is based on a trust model, a security model, and a risk model. From the framework presented, uncertainty problem in pervasive computing environments can be solved well. Moreover, from the simulation results, we can see that the framework is dynamic and lightweight enough to be applicable to in pervasive computing environments.
