The planning of an urban transport system can take advantage of some new and innovative computational techniques. In this paper an unsupervisioned new neural network is employed to resolve the problem of traffic flow simulation. The results obtained are compared with those obtained through the use of conventional algorithms and techniques generally employed by the transport system analysts.
