Three-phase asynchronous single-machine frequency converters based on RA motors

The development of three-phase asynchronous single-machine frequency converters on the basis of machines with a phase rotor in the RA series is described. New three-phase single-layer chain-type and two-layer fractional (d = 5, 7) stator windings and three-phase/multiphase combined phase-rotor windings are investigated. Electromagnetic calculations of the frequency converters are considered. The basic performance of the frequency converters with H = 160 mm is compared with that of non-Russian two-machine frequency converters.
