An improved performance of home E-health portable monitoring system

Now-a-days, a growing number of people in a developing countries like India forces to look for new solutions for the continuous monitoring of health check-up. It has become a necessity to visit hospitals frequently for doctor's consultation, which has become financially related and a time consuming process. To overcome this situation, we propose a design with cost effective, scalable, portable, and high performance, and which gives primary information about a person's health related monitoring parameters such as body temperature, heart rate, ECG, Brain tumor in home before doctor's consultation. In this paper, an improved performance of the home e-health care and portable monitoring system using LPC-2148 microcontroller platform with smart phone application has been proposed by which monitoring status is obtained. Also, most importantly information can be given through the android mobile application accordingly and even SMS can be sent to the authorized personnel and the respective patient.
