Analysis and Simulation of 2-D Spatial-Temporal Spectrum Estimation Algorithm

The model of array signal is described first, and then the principle of 2-D spatial-temporal spectrum estimation is analyzed. The performance of spatial spectrum estimation could be improved by taking full advantage of spatial-domain and temporal-domain. Relative to one-dimensional spectral estimation, the 2-D spectrum estimation could estimate the signal with signal source number greater than that of array source. The simulation results show that the frequency and azimuth angle of the incident signals could be well estimated by the proposed algorithm, and the proposed algorithm is practicable and effective.
