Preparation of gas diffusion layer for fuel cell

Provided are a method for preparing a gas diffusion layer for a fuel cell having uniform electron conductivity and porosity, an electrode for a fuel cell containing the gas diffusion layer prepared by the method, and a fuel cell containing the electrode. The method comprises the steps of adding a solvent, a dispersant and an aqueous polymer resin to a carbon powder and mixing the solvent, the dispersant, the aqueous polymer resin and the carbon powder in a high speed to prepare a dispersion; adding a fluorocarbon resin suspension to the dispersion and mixing it in low speed to obtain a carbon slurry; coating the carbon slurry on a carbon base and drying it to form a primer layer; forming a microporous layer on the primer layer; and heat-treating the obtained one. Preferably the carbon powder has an average particle size of 20-2,000 nm.
