Publisher Summary
This chapter presents an attempt to identify the visual and manual phenomena for a human operator submitted to vestibular stimulations during visual detection tasks. It focuses on the variations in the visual and manual capabilities of a human operator effected to a survey task when submitted to some vestibular stimulations. Owing to the number of parameters entering into this multi-input system, the analysis method is an attempt to describe the carrying of information from visual and vestibular senses organs to the nervous system. The approach of such a human system may consist in the derivation of a decision algorithm to clarify the splitting of the information carryings in a canal with limited capacity, leading sometimes to conflicts between tasks.
