Nowadays more and more translators are trying to use tools to help their translation work.But not all of them know the con cepts and differences of machine translation(MT) and translation memory(TM).In this essay,I will explore functions and benefits of SDL Trados Studio 2009,which is a tool of machine translation,with the translation theory of MT and TM.
