Development of the composite soft switching technique for power converters and inverters

This paper presents research and development of the new, composite soft switching techniques for power converters and inverters, where active switches turn on and turn off by different soft switching techniques. The composite soft switching techniques combine snubber functions and resonant zero current switching. Characteristics and applications of the techniques are discussed.
