New digital environments to support creativity : Exploring children in narrative activities and architects in design building

Among the developments of new information and communication technologies there is a growing interest in creating interfaces that are better usable and more natural. Here we present two of such interfaces : the POGO active tools to support narrative activities of children at school and the Virtual desk conceived to aid design activities of architects. We briefly discuss some information technology issues that are relevant in both domains, we present the tools and we start to understand their structuring effects on the activity.
