Analysis and design of an efficient RF/DC rectifier for UHF power harvester

An efficient RF-to-DC rectifier for UHF power harvester at 915MHz ISM band is presented. Systematic design and analysis are involved in the study. An optimal 7-stage RF-to-DC rectifier was designed and fabricated in TSMC 0.18um MM/RF CMOS process. Experimental measurement results showed that the proposed circuit had a power sensitivity of −9.5dBm while maintaining a DC output voltage of 1.2V and a current load of 10uA.
