A Simple Artificial Neural Network Based Joint Modulation Format Identification and OSNR Monitoring Algorithm for Elastic Optical Networks

A simple artificial neural network based joint modulation format identification and OSNR monitoring algorithm for elastic optical networks is experimentally realized in IMDD QAM-OFDM system. Experimental results demonstrate high identification and OSNR estimation accuracy.
