An Adaptive Algorithm For Coronary Artery Identification In Cineangiograms

The problem of identification of the coronal y arteiy from the angiogram is acldresscd. An adaptive system for the classification of the arterial structure is presented. The system is based on a parallel distributed network, and an adaptive segmentation algorithm. It is a computationally efficient system, since most of the calculation are preformed prior to the iteration stage. The segmentation results on a human coronary angiogram are illustrated.
