Aplicações, serviços e arquiteturas de rede em sistemas de satélites geostacionários de comunicação

EnglishWith 30 years of history, the satellite comunications can be considered a mature and stable system, but in great process of evolution and the close relationship with the high tecnology. The cost characteristics of satellite resources with its basics properties show that this communication system is adapted to specific types of services, applications and networks configurations. Currently, because of the globalizations process, the telecommunications have been showing a consisten growth and the satellites comunications appears as a suitable alternative to build wide area networks (public or private), joined with another kind of communications structure or alone. The objective of this tutorial is to show examples of applications, service and network architectures that use the geostationary satellite communications, also showing some hypothetical and real cases. portuguesCom cerca de 30 anos de historia, as comunicacoes por satelite podem ser consideradas um sistema maduro e estavel, mas em franco processo de evolucao e estando intimamente relacionadas com a mais alta tecnologia. As caracteristicas de custo dos recursos por satelite em conjunto com suas propriedades basicas indicam que esses sistema de comunicacao e voltado a tipos especificos de servicos, aplicacoes e configuracoes de rede. Atualmente, tendo em vista os processos de globalizacao, nos quais as telecomunicacoes internacioais tem apresentado um crescimento consistente, a comunicacao por satelite surge como alternativa adequada para a formacao de redes de area ampla, publicas ou privativas, tanto de forma isolada como em composicao com outros tipos de estruturas de comunicacao. O objetivo deste trabalho, estruturado como um tutorial, e apresentar, por meio de situacoes hipoteticas e de casos ja implatados, exemplos de aplicacoes, servicos e arquiteturas de rede que se utilizam edos recursos dos satelites geoestacionarios de comunicacao, proporcionando, tambem, uma revisao dos fundamentos da tecnologia.
