An object oriented graphical tool for creating and editing Petri nets

This paper presents an object oriented graphical tool for creating and editing Petri nets in a graphical form and for translating these nets into a textual form for analysis and simulation purposes. The tool is called Netman. Its architecture, functionality and application are discussed and a simple example of its use is presented. This paper illustrates the ability to create a net and evaluate a system using a seamless link to a simulation package.<<ETX>>
