A Novel Double Hysteresis Current Control Method For Active Power Filter

Abstract A novel current control method is proposed in this paper and it is applied in active power filter. The method combines voltage space vector modulation (SVM) with double hysteresis current control (DHCC) techniques. SVM technology is an effective way to rid the unnecessary switching action and improves the utilization of the direct current bus voltage. The outer loop hysteresis can ensure fast dynamic response and precision. The optimal voltage space vector is introduced to the inner loop hysteresis to decrease the switching frequency. Simulation experiments verify the proposed method.
