Steady-State and Transient Simulation of Gas Flow Temperature of Intake Port Engine

2 Abstract: The objective of this paper is to i nvestigate the gas flow temperature in the intake port of four-stroke direct-injection co mpression i gnition engi ne usi ng G T-Suite sof tware for s teady-state and transient simulation. To i nvestigate and s imulate the intake port gas flow temperature profile of compression i gnition en gine is using GT-Power engine model were dev eloped i n t his paper. GT-Power is sub-system menu fr om GT-Suite. The engine model is developed from t he real compression ignition engine data and input t o software library. In this research, t he simulation of en gine model i s ru nning in variations engine speed s. The si mulation output data is collected from the G T-Post results plots and casesRLT in po st processing. The si mulation results of the intake port engine m odel are shown t he characters in intake port temperature profile of engine in variations engine speeds. The detail performance intake port gas flow t emperature is shown in graphs in t his paper.
