Diseño de un puente con vigas postensadas tipo cajón, en la vía santa rosa – huaquillas, provincia de “el oro”

The systems of prestressed for bridges nowadays have a large field of application due to its importance, characteristic and capacity of resistance; allow to save span of lengths superior to the traditional bridges of concrete, for that reason emphasis has been placed on the study of them. In the present project it has been provided to include the basic concepts regarding prestressed concrete bridges, geometric properties and the corresponding constructive process that characterizes the post-tensioned. This will allow us to delve into the subject to later develop the design of the beams pos-tensioned, case for which emphasis has been placed on concepts and technical aspects of post-tensioned, the basic equation of the design according to the LRFD method, the loads, the limit states that intervene in a design, formulas and tables obtained directly from the regulations such as AASHTO and ACI. Besides It has been incorporated the types of losses and development of prestressed strands. This report aims to show a reference of all the components involved in the calculation, in the section of annexes will show the entire step-by-step process of the development of the exercise, detailing one by one the formulas and factors used in it.
