Mock-up 시험을 통한 플로팅 슬래브 궤도의 성능 검증

Floating slab track (FST) which has some kind of anti-vibration devices under the slab was introduced in order to attenuate noise and vibration induced by train. Korea Railroad Research Institute (KRRI) has recently developed a new FST system using elastometric bearings as anti-vibration devices. The real-scale mock-up test has been carried out to evaluate the performance of the developed anti-vibration devices and the floating slab. The length of the floating slab was determined by 3-D FE analysis in order that the test track would behave in the bending mode. This paper contains the results of static, dynamic and modal tests. From the test results, the natural frequency of the test track was found 9.4Hz in the first bending mode, which is slightly higher than the design tuning frequency. This is attributed to the creep deformation due to the viscoelastic characteristics of elastomer. Therefore, in the design phase, the design static spring constant of the vibration islator should be determined considering this creep strain of elastomer.
