High temperature relaxations of polycarbonate thin films

Depolarisation behaviour of poled polycarbonate thin films exhibits two new relaxations at 350 and 436K and a space-charge polarisation above room temperature. The low temperature relaxation has been attributed to the molecular motion, whereas the high temperature one is associated with the orientation of the dipoles, formed by the electrons and the holes on their release from their respective traps.
