Acardius (Acardius Acephalus)

Aciu-dius i \ a rare malformation only seen in niono7y~oiis multiple pregnancy. We present a case of acardiiis ( acardius acephalus) diagnosed by ultrasound. Four different types of acardius will be described ant! treatment modalities for an acardious twin pi-cgnancy will be discussed. Careful and repeat dirasoiind examination is mandatory for diagnosis and follou-up in this type of pregnancy. Managemeiit is \ t i l l on an experimental basis.
