Reliability Enhancement of Mobile Edge Computing for the IoT with Multiple Damage Communication

In order to overcome the scalability problem of the traditional Internet of Things (IoT), an approach to Mobile Edge Computing (MEC) for the IoT architecture (EdgeIoT) has been proposed. Providing a reliable transmission environment for an application built on EdgeIoT is a very important issue. Therefore, in this paper, the consensus problem is revised to design a reliable transmission network of EdgeIoT. The new proposed protocol can make all fault-free nodes reach consensus and tolerate the maximal number of allowable faulty components in the EdgeIoT.
