The third method included in this study is Gossiping. Intuitively this will exhibit the most energy saving however the time that it takes for the correct data to converge to the sink node is much longer. By randomly gossiping, it is possible for the data to leave and come back to the same node thus inefficiently traversing the network in order to get to the sink node In this preliminary study we will show that simple changes to the protocols for example, changing the value of TTL coupled with sending of all duplicated packets in each node can have a big impact on reliability of data..
