Apparatus for enhancing the channel-changing speed of digital broadcast receiver

PURPOSE: An apparatus for improving a channel change speed in a digital broadcasting receiver is provided to solve the delay of the channel change speed by composing a main tuner for reproduction and a sub-tuner for tuning. CONSTITUTION: The first to third demultiplexing units(22-24) demultiplex digital broadcasting transmission streams capable of being received from a main tuner(20) and a sub-tuner(21), and extract program information of the digital broadcasting transmission streams. A program information storing unit(26) stores program information. When a user requests channel change, a channel change control signal is provided to the program information storing unit(26) and a channel is changed.
