Spectrometric Study of the Thermal Evolution of Mechanochemically Prepared Hydroxyapatite-based Powders

This study deals with the production of hydroxyapatite by a mechanochemical method, especially following the transformations that are involved during their annealing when the physico-mechanical conditions of synthesis are more or less strong. In particular the higher the reacheable crushing pressure during synthesis, the lower the presence of spurious phosphates during sintering. The main structure-related parameters were evaluated as a function of annealing temperature, and possible interpretations given thoroughly.
