A Modeling Approach for Dynamic Simulation of Hydroelectric Generating Set With Flowmaster2

For simulating dynamic hydroelectric generating set easily and quickly,a new modeling method using Flowmaster2 soft is proposed.A mathematic model for hydroelectric generating set,one of most key components of hydropower simulation system,is educed to compatible with Flowmaster2.The process and programming approach of the modeling are introduced in detail.A model of Francis hydroelectric generating set is constructed,and the results demonstrate that the methods introduced can simulate easily the hydraulic system in hydroelectric station.The research lays a good foundation for numerical simulation of large hydropower project.
