The Influence of the Details of Reinforcement Arrangement on Deformation Performance of Reinforced Concrete Members

This paper examines the influence of reinforcement details on the deformation performance of reinforced concrete (RC) members. The authors conducted loading experiments and analyses on specimens for various reinforcement arrangements. Buckling analyses and experiments under cyclic lateral loads were performed to determine the degree of influence of diameter and spacing of longitudinal bars and those of ties, which were set as parameters.
