Strategy on Supplier Selection of Shipbuilding Enterprises

In order to select suitable suppliers for an outfitting or outsoucing in shipbuilding procedure, the process of supplier selection is divided into two stages, i.e.pre-selection and making decision. Based on the criteria presented by some researchers, the different evaluation criteria for these two stages are given because of different evaluation object. Using experts' knowledge, the fuzzy cluster analysis and improved linear weight method are presented to evaluate potential suppliers in different stages. It can be concluded that the supplier selection method presented is practicable through an given example.
