The mechanism of availability increase and quality maintenance of the IMS conferencing

The paper presents a comprehensive review of the literature related to the conferencing service, indicating lack of research focused on reliability of such systems. Moreover, the IMS conferencing system architecture is shown with proposed mechanisms to improve system availability – monitoring, load balancing, failover and maintaining the quality of the conference.
