The Influence of Situational Awareness of Human Factors on Ship’s Safety

Recently, there have been an increasingly frequent sea accidents, most of which are related with human factors according to the result of investigation. In the paper, the significant influence of situational awareness of human factors on the ship’s safety is analyzed based on the case study, the importance to strengthen the sailor’s situational awareness is pointed out, and some countermeasures and precautions are put forward as well.
