Níveis e frequências de irrigação na limeira ‘Tahiti’ no Estado do Piauí

Levels and frequencies of irrigation in ‘Tahiti’ lime in the State of Piaui Works about irrigation management are scarce in Brazil, especially in the State of Piaui. The objective of this study was to evaluate yield and yield components of Tahiti lime in response to application of five irrigation depths (68, 80, 100, 124 and 136% of the crop evapotranspiration – ETc) and two irrigation frequencies (one and two days). The experiment was carried out on a commercial orchard under trickle irrigation, where plants were spaced 6 x 5 m and located in Jose de Freitas, Piaui State, Brazil. The experiment was arranged in randomized blocks and split-plot design with four replications (irrigation frequencies, in the plot, and irrigation depths, in the subplots). The irrigation was managed daily by soil-water balance, using the Irriplus software. Irrigation management with daily frequency and 100% ETc was the most indicated treatment for providing higher yield (2709 kg ha -1 ) and mean weight of fruit (105.2 g) as well as maximum water efficiency (299 g m -3 ).
