We have analyzed the Italian and English governmental website to examine their structures and the means they propose to retrieve information. As a matter of fact their approach is totally different: the Italian website employs a hierarchical system which offers only one way to access each public service; the English one on the contrary uses an associative model, which distinguishes itself for the various viewpoints to describe the individual service.
