Analysis on Geotechnical Engineering Characteristics of Thiliwa Shipyard in Myanmar

The geological structure and stability,subsoil composition and physical and mechanical properties,foundation and type of foundation as well as the problems existed of Thiliwa Shipyard in Myanmar are discussed and the comparisons of soil properties with the soft clay from Xingang Port in Tianjin are also made.Based on the analysis and test,the differences between codes and adaptability to apply Chinese standard in international project are also evaluated.
