Acute intestinal obstruction caused by lithopaedion

A case of acute small‐gut obstruction caused by lithopaedion following an intra‐uterine pregnancy is reported. Other instances of lithopaedion described in the literature have largely related to extra‐uterine pregnancies and appear to have presented in a different way.
