The Application of a Fuzzy Petri Net for Controlling Complex Industrial Processes

Abstract At the operative control of production the regime of technology is coordinated in the sub-systems by the human operator, to reached the production goal as efficiently as possible. In this multi-decision-making process the operator applies an incomplete model, in which disturbances and control actions are recognized quickly. Such a model is the fuzzy Petri net, which is derived by fuzzification of transitions and places from the classical Petri net. The membership functions of the fuzzy sets result from intuitions and experiences of specialists
