On-line analysis and optimization of the generation cost in guangdong power grid

Aiming at the problem to make a balance between security and economy of power system operation,the optimal power flow models suitable for analysis and calculation of power system,considering multistate and multi-constraint,used in adjusting the generation schedule were constructed,the nonlinear optimal power flow algorithms based on interior point method were studied,a software developed by Visual C++ 6.0 for generation cost on-line system was presented.The total framework,the module division and the function characteristic of software development were described in detail.The result indicates that the software can realize economical distribution of load deviation and the lowest purchase cost based on safe and stable operation of power system.
