The hydrogen compressor system with metal diaphragm is operated by oil hydraulic power. It consists of gas head, metal diaphragm, oil head, oil compensating pump, relief valve and plunger etc. An oil compensating pump have been demanded to compensate for an oil leakage in an oil head chamber and a piston head chamber. The oil leakage is occurred through clearance between a plunger and a main cylinder Some quantity of oil overflow through a relief valve. So, the hydrogen compressor system has to have the oil compensating pump, commonly used radial piston type hydraulic pump and coupled operating with main crank shaft. Main components are operated by oil hydraulic components in this system. Therefore, a dynamic simulation model of the hydraulic system using commercial software AMESim tool is developed in this study, included a radial piston type oil compensating pump model, a high speed and a high pressure relief valve model, a plunger driven by crank shaft and system head part included the metal diaphragm etc. A dynamic simulation results presented the operating characteristics of main hydraulic components in this simulation.
