Mandatory Characteristics and Parameters of Photoelectric Systems, Arrays and Modules and Methods of their Determining

Abstract Adequate evaluation of photoelectric systems, photoelectric arrays and photoelectric modules in conditions they are supposed to be operated is one of the most essential problems of today’s photoelectric power industry that has to be considered in the course of their designing and putting into service, as well as during operation in particular, permanently changing environments. In this work, mandatory characteristics and parameters of photoelectric systems and system’s PV components have been considered that have to be specified by manufacturer in technical documentation. Conventional test and calculations methods for defining these characteristics and parameters have been evaluated.
