Spinocerebellar ataxia type 6 (SCA 6)

channels and voltage-dependent K+ channels are localized at the postsynaptic membrane and generate the postsynaptic potentials. Recently. some of the molecular bases for the specific subcellular localization of these ion channels at synapse have been elucidated. The topic of this talk is the role of PSD anchoring proteins in the control of localization and function of G protein-gated K+ channels at the postsynaptic membrane.
