Application of articulated bogie in urban rail vehicles

The application and development of articulated train is reviewed in the paper.It also explains the basic structure mode and advantages and disadvantages of articulated train.Combined with the characteristics of the urban rail transportation and its basic demands of vehicle,it is proved that the articulated bogie can be used in the urban rail vehicle.And it puts forward the preliminary design plan of articulated bogie on urban rail vehicle.
