Spectroscopy of 20Ne and 24Mg nuclei in the interacting boson model including g bosons.

In the interacting boson model including g bosons for the nuclei /sup 20/Ne and /sup 24/Mg and employing an interaction that interpolates the various dynamical symmetries in the model, spectra and E2 and E4 matrix elements are calculated. The results are in good agreement with data.
