OPTIMAL VAR PLANNING PROCEDURES IN LARGE SCALE SYSTEMS

In the VAR planning activity large scale network solutions require suitable automatic procedures which are to be utilized several time for different hypotheses. These include uncertainties both in load growth rates and in the availability, at certain predicted future times, of the scheduled power plants and transmission equipments.
