Subspace Prediction Control for a CFBB Combustion System

Firstly, system models are identified by the subspace method when primary air flow and coal feed are used as the variables, and main steam pressure and bed temperature are selected as output variables. Then the subspace-predictive control method with the proportional and integral structure (SPC-PI) is proposed. Finally, simulation researches are made, and simulation results indicate that subspace identification models built in this chapter well coincide with the experienced models firstly, and then control outputs not only accord with control requirements but guarantee the stabilization of primary air flow. Therefore, this method is robust and has a better disturbance rejection property.
