The implementation of a high resolution digital color image processing system for animal behavior measurement

This text is describing an image processing system based on FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) device. The goal of this research is to build a high resolution color image processing system. This system was designed to solve the problem of animal behavior measurement. This system can provide high resolution image processing ability. The screen resolution is 640/spl times/480 pixels. The system can record the slight animal motion exactly for animal behavior analysis and research in the future. We also added the function of data transmission in our system. It can send data to computer through a serial port.
