Design Approach for Accidents Notification in Vehicular Ad Hoc Network

VANET is a wireless network that provides driving comfort and road safety. VANET cannot guarantee correct detection of dangerous road conditions, and communication between vehicles when the network is very high, which is dangerous to drive safely. We propose a new scenario using VANET for rescue purpose at time of emergency to overcome such dangerous accidents and communication problems in VANET, We have used sensors nodes to interact with vehicles while travelling along with RSUs (road side sensor units) and Base Stations (BS) interacting scenario to server in the proposed architecture. The RSUs senses road conditions and delivers messages to vehicles via BS and to other vehicles by V2RSU and V2I communication. All such transmitted messages are check through Position-based routing security algorithm, which secures emergency messages and detect any change in parameters, routing protocol such as AODV is used. The proposed system will notify about the accidents on roads and propose new route to vehicles to avoid traffic congestion with the help of sensor interactions scenario. The work completed till now shows the V2V communication and relates the graph between them and V2V and RSU and BS communication.
