SDM-WDM hybrid reconfigurable add-drop nodes for self-homodyne photonic networks

We present an SDM-WDM hybrid add-drop network node compatible with SDM-based self-homodyne transmission. OSNR penalties were less than 0.7 dB, but net spectral efficiency was slightly sacrificed.
